Lincoln MKZ is powered by a 263-hp 3.5L Duratec® 24V V6. This engine generates smooth and responsive performance while achieving excellent fuel efficiency. The 6-speed SelectShift™ Automatic™ transmission is designed with a wide range of gear ratios for low-speed acceleration and excellent fuel economy. It also has a manual mode that lets you shift the gears like a manual, but without the clutch, for that added performance feel.

The dual LCD SmartGauge™ with EcoGuide is an innovative gauge cluster that provides real-time information to help you get the most efficiency from your Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. It uses dual liquid crystal display (LCD) screens on either side of the center-mounted speedometer. Watch the display grow leaves as your short-term driving efficiency increases. As your long-term driving becomes more efficient, more vines, leaves and even flowers are displayed. A tutorial built into the display lets you choose one of four data screens for the level of information you want — Inform, Enlighten, Engage or Empower — and explains your options within each. Steering wheel-mounted controls make it all easy. All levels can indicate instant fuel economy; fuel economy history; odometer; engine coolant temperature; plus trip data including fuel economy, time-elapsed fuel economy and miles to empty.

Technology

One less thing to have to think about. When it starts to rain or snow, the available rain sensing wipers automatically turn on and can be set to one of five levels of sensitivity. So smart, you'll wonder how you ever got along without it.
